The single features the West End Gospel Choir who will be performing with John at his London show on the release date 1st December. The show will include performances from Louise Dearman (Wicked) and Gareth Gates (Pop Idol) with Christopher Biggins presenting. John Owen-Jones says: “I am hugely excited to have been able to record a version of one of my favourite festive songs and really hope people like my own unique spin on it!” John follows his critically acclaimed album ‘Unmasked’ with the Christmas single. In 2014 the double A single will be re-released with ‘Till I Hear You Sing’ for his Spring concerts. John has been busy with TV work which included a guest role in ‘The Mill’ (Channel 4) and appearances in ‘Scott and Bailey’ (ITV) and ‘In The Flesh’ (BBC3). Recently John performed with gospel singer David Phelps at the O2, London and US musical composer Scott Alan also at the O2. Each time receiving a standing ovation! The Public Reviews Rating: ‘Unmasked’ album, ‘Bring Him Home’ shows off his strength in being able to interpret and bring such depth to the lyrics……. John has enjoyed critical acclaim for his award winning performances in the lead role of Jean Valjean in ‘Les Miserables’ and the title role in The Phantom of the Opera. John performed in New York this year where he appeared as a very special guest in a gala performance of ‘The Phantom of the Opera’ to celebrate the show’s 25th year on Broadway. John is no stranger to the role with nearly 2000 performances as the ‘Opera Ghost’ and is considered by fans worldwide to be the definitive Phantom.
