Anglesey – Ynys Môn in Welsh – has contributed vastly to the variety and wealth of contemporary Welsh entertainment, and it continues to do so. This new collection brings together the best of the island’s talents, ranging in style from classical singing to the world of pop music, and from the traditional to the instrumental. Sain’s archive of recordings has supplied most of the tracks, but more recent recordings have been included to bring the collection bang up to date. Soloists, duets, choirs and groups – and they all have one thing in common, their innate love of music and singing.
