Byd o Heddwch / World in Union

The latest album by one of Wales’ best small Male Choirs. The main song was the signature tune for the Rugby World Cup Down Under, where the choir spent three-weeks in concert to launch the album! This long-established choir is now one of Wales’ best small Male Choirs. With their rich voices and exuberant singing, they have just returned from a tour of Australia and New Zealand. This was the seventh tour Down Under for Côr Godre’r Aran, and their third visit to New Zealand. The Musical Director/Accompanist is Eirian Owen, who’s a Piano Tutor in Manchester. The album consists of powerful songs such as O Isis ac Osiris, Nkosi Sikelel’i Afrika, Sanctus, Surge Illuminate and Do you hear the people sing? Four soloists also took centre stage during the tour. Tom Evans Gwanas, Trebor Lloyd Evans and Sion Goronwy are choir members, and Aled Wyn Davies joined them as Special Guest soloist. They are all National Eisteddfod winners.
