One of the highlights of the year for Côr Eifionydd is the annual Christmas concert, held on the Sunday before Christmas Day each year. This has been a mainstay in the choir’s year for over 25 years, and all profits are donated to local and national charities - normally ones with connection to choir members.

It is a sure sign that Christmas is coming when Pat presents the members with a range of new carols each Autumn. Some of the carols have now become firm favourites with choir members, and the programme for the Christmas performance will be a mixture of these favourites, some traditional carols and also traditional Welsh Plygain carols.

This is Côr Eifionydd’s fifth CD and it seemed quite natural that it would reflect the Christmas concerts we have enjoyed over many years. The choir very much enjoyed recording our favourite carols and we hope that listening to them will also give you pleasure.
