A double DVD package with special features to celebrate the 25th biennial concert of the massed choir, with guest soloists Jessica Robinson, Eirlys Myfanwy Davies, Rhodri Prys Jones and Meilir Jones, accompaniment by The Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama Symphony Orchestra, Annabel Thwaite and Robert Nicholls, under the baton of Edward-Rhys Harry. The London Welsh Festival of Male Choirs reaches a major milestone as it is held for the twenty-fifth time, featuring choirs from Wales, England, Ireland, USA and Hong Kong. The programme includes a commemoration of the 1966 Aberfan disaster. Don’t Go Chasing Shadows, composed by the musical director Edward-Rhys Harry, is performedm by the four young soloists and the London Welsh Male Voice Choir.
