Wales in Song

A varied concert of popular songs in Welsh, including the Welsh National Anthem. This is a great collection of easy-listening songs which convey a spirit of Wales past and present. As well as the old favourites you can hear new compositions like the fine opening track by Côr Seiriol, a female choir as good as any Wales has ever produced. Traditional folk tunes such as the haunting ‘Mil harddach wyt’ rub shoulders with an adaptation of one of Abbas’s hits ‘Thank you for the music’. You can sing along with catchy numbers or dance to the irrepressible instruments of Ar Log, and to crown it all, Llanelli Male choir give a stirring rendition of the National Anthem of Wales.
