Gwahoddiad

Côr Meibion Taf was formed in 2004 when around twenty singers came together in the Tabernacl chapel in Cardiff to establish the first Welsh language male voice choir in the capital city. Nearly twenty years later the choir has grown to include over sixty members, and a large number of the initial crew are still members. They have won first prize three times at the National Eisteddfod and the choir’s services are often called upon to hold a variety of concerts including concerts for the benefit of different charities.
 On St David’s Day 2023 they were invited to perform at the Senedd and they have performed several times at the Principality Stadium before international rugby matches. The choir has appeared on the stage of the Royal Albert Hall in the London Welsh Male Voice Choirs Festival and on the stage of St David’s Hall, Cardiff in the Welsh Proms. Côr Meibion Taf enjoys combining singing with travelling and over the years the choir has performed in Spain, Italy, North America, Ireland, England and Scotland.
