Merched Plastaf Choir

Merched Plastaf Choir is a talented choir of young female voices from the three Welsh-medium secondary schools in Cardiff: Plasmawr, Glantaf, and Bro Edern. Under the direction of Caryl Ebenezer, the energetic and ambitious singers love performing and are quickly making a name for themselves in the community and beyond with their unique, rich sound. From traditional songs to classical and contemporary pieces, the new album Annwyl Faria, recorded at St Augustine’s Church, Penarth features a wide range of beautiful music, and includes works specially commissioned for the choir by some of Wales’s leading composers.
