Terfysg - Neb yn Aros
Terfysg release début single with Y Selar
Promising Anglesey based band, Terfysg, are the latest act to release their début single with Music magazine, Y Selar’s Singles Club.
‘Neb yn Aros’, which is out on Wednesday 29th April, was recorded at the Sain studio in Llandwrog in March this year, and was produced by Sion Jones.
The single is the fifth release by the magazines Singles Club and follows successful releases by acts like Estrons, Henebion and Ysgol Sul.
“We came across Terfysg a few months ago and think they’re a very exciting Young band” said Owain Schiavone of Y Selar.
“All the members are really talented, they are a very tight act considering they’ve only been together for a short time, and they have a very full and fresh sound.”
The band’s frontman, Dewi Erwan is very glad of the opportunity to release their début single via the Singles Club and explains that this has already led to them being offered a recording contract.
“We want to thank Y Selar for the opportunity to record this single, which has directly enabled us to secure a recording contract to release an EP with Sain, and play lots of gigs in the process.”

Who are Terfysg?
Terfysg ar a 5 piece act from Anglesey.
The members are Aeron Jones (guitar) and Sion Gwilym (drums) from Llangefni, Ioan Gwyn (bass guitar) from Star, James Jones (keyboards) from Llangoed, and Dewi Erwan (lead vocal and guitar) from Brynteg.
They’ve been together as a band since August 2014 and describe their musical influences as various, ranging from rock to punk, metal to folk.
