Y PROFIAD
Biography
Y Profiad formed in 1998 and included veteran musicians who performed in a number of talented Welsh bands. One of the original members left the band, but another young and talented guitarist soon replaced him – Nathan Owen plays the guitar and keyboard masterfully. He won the title “Young Guitarist of the Year” at Anglesey National Eisteddfod in 1999, and was a member of Blue Voodoo, Y Moniars and Feely Bands.
Y Profiad appeared at Bryn Terfel’s Faenol Festival in 2001, which was the highlight of their career.
This is a band – featuring the soaring voice of lead-singer Llion – that can perform as well in live gigs as they do on CD. They know their audience and will never disappoint.
