IRIS WILLIAMS
Biography
Many years have gone by since the young girl from Tonyrefail recorded on the Cambrian label. When the company came to an end, Sain Records bought their collection , including early songs by Iris Williams.
Lately, with the help of modern digital technology, the standard of the old discs have been improved, and a new CD of early tracks by Iris Williams was released.
Iris now lives in New York and still performs all-over the world and regularly on the QE2. She still comes home to perform and is very proud of her Welsh origins and the fact that she still includes Welsh songs on Cabaret stages in America.
