BRENDA EDWARDS
Brenda began singing at a young age, and released her first album “Canu yn y Tywyllwch” (Singing in Darkness) with SAIN records in 1977. The title-song was composed specially for her, as she was born blind. Educated at a school for the blind near Bridgend, Brenda has never allowed her disability to hold her back, and she has pursued her singing career with fortitude and a great sense of fun.
Country music has always been her favorite, and this style has obviously influenced her singing and composing, and over the years she has built up a large following. Her two albums for Sain have achieved substantial sales, and her appeal to country audiences everywhere remains undiminished.
